my esteemed opponent (ignore the score; he's in first place) went through all his RP in this game, and then HAL stuck Bedard, a pure S6, in to mop up the last inning...I've never seen this before...Villone, the last reliever, went 1 2/3 innings before giving way to Bedard...why didn't HAL just leave Villone in?

in my experience, HAL has always left my last RP in there to take a beating...

is this something he/it will occassionally do?...

In an extra inning game I had A.J. Burnett come in for the save.

I've seen it happen in like a 15 inning game.

Seen it happen 6-7 times.
