had to take a few mnths away from strat, b/ of work, now venturing back in w/ my 1st '06 team... since I don't know much about the '06 cards i figured i would let you all pick apart and critique this team..
have shields,gonzalez,and hernandez getting the majority of the bullpen work and the rest for matchups. and obviously young is gonna be my DH.. so here they are

Looks good to me except:
1)Kendall can't catch vs rhp's.
2)Are any of the $3.00 closers left. Krod, Lidge or Hermanson would look better to me than R Hernandez.

I'm with durant on this one. You need a better closer (C5/6) closing out games.

Baez, Hoffman and Fuentes are available and I'd rather those closers than what you have.

Grab McDonald or another guy other than Bellhorn to backup Graff when he goes down.

Looks good for a 1st. 2006 team though... :D

Maybe switch out Fuentes for Gonzalez.

Dumped mulder for vargas, in turn to free up the cash to drop hernandez and pick up bj ryan.. good?? bad??

Just noticed that there are ALOT of LHSP's in your division.

Helton is not good vs. LH's plus he's W vs. them.

You may want to platoon him with a cheap guy (Feliz ?) or maybe go with a platoon.

Crawford too...

crawford was not my 1st choice, but the only lf's left of value are burrel, & guillen ( injury risk). i picked up byrnes to platoon w/ crawford against the lefties... I picked up helton b/ I wanted one more big obp guy, even w/ the "w" i think he may still be able to be effective against the lefties
