This may be a dumb question but, when picking a stadium does the field surface (gras or turf) make any difference? Yankee Stadium and the Metrodome have the same ball park ratings except one is grass and one is turf. I've seen lots of Yankee stadiums but not many Metrodome's in league play, I was wondering if the field has any thing to do with it???

grass or turf makes no difference in game play.
