why so many errors?

miguel tejada is set for shortstop and is only supposed to make 20 a season
so im wondering why he has so many errors

messed up! You should be PISSED. He's on pace for 54, that's probably an extra 20 runs over the year. i THINK it's set to even out so he should be GOLDEN the rest of the year

No exact answer for this but....23 E's is kinda high for SS so Tejada is just suffering the bad breaks 23 E's get from the charts. Beltran has also maxed his E's for the season. For a CF with 4 errors E's are harder to come by the Tejadas. I also allow for a +/- of around 10% for E's on defense...so by that standard Tejada could have btwn 20 and 27 E's in a season

and there's definitely no "setting" that kicks in for statistical normalization.
Bottom line is that even a 162 game season is not much of a sample size when considering the number of times you get a SS-X on the pitcher's card.
He may indeed see ~10% +/- of what's expected...or one could say that 2/3 of the time he should be within a standard dev, 95% of the time within 2 standard devs, but there are going to be outlier seasons...the tails of the distribution of seasons.

there is no setting hell just keep getting error its just plain bad he ,propbaly getting much x chart
