If he is so great why didn't the Cubs get him or the Nationals or the Rangers or the A's. It was not over one tiff with the owner. The owner was actully his biggest suporter, why because Joe was his hire. He didn't get along with the Front office staff or the GM thats what got him in the long run. Telling off the owner in that one game was just the nail in his coffin. He got the award because the team exceeded expectations. However, was it do the managing or the players who prefroemed like they were all rookies of the year.
