Just thinking about medium to high priced players who dont get used very often. This would be my team. Are there any other players you feel get used less.

1b Nick Johnson

2b Brian Roberts

ss Bobby Crosby

3b Joe Randa

C Victor Martinez

Lf Chad Tracy

Cf Dave Roberts( one of my faves however)

rf Juan Encarnacion(never see him used)

Sp Tim Wakefield (along with Garland always the two highest priced *sp left as free agents)

Rp Arthur Rhodes

My take on these guys.

1b Nick Johnson - too much injury for my blood

2b Brian Roberts - pricey but in the right $ league-very good

ss Bobby Crosby - used once-ok results

3b Joe Randa - never used

C Victor Martinez - AWESOME! always hits well

Lf Chad Tracy - Hits well too!

Cf Dave Roberts( one of my faves however) never used

rf Juan Encarnacion(never see him used) A good hitter-decent def-I use him alot.

Sp Tim Wakefield (along with Garland always the two highest priced *sp left as free agents) - use alot too! Both give decent results

Rp Arthur Rhodes - used only in the High $ leagues-good results

1b Nick Johnson - injury rating too high for someone who isn't good enough vs Rgihties

2b Brian Roberts - what leagues are you in! I've missed out on him in my last 3 leagues trying to get him?

ss Bobby Crosby - High injury rating for no bat

3b Joe Randa - cause he ALWAYS really underperforms

C Victor Martinez - expensive but worth it.

Lf Chad Tracy - used 3 times, all 3 times has hit under .260, .330 for me. Won't use again

Cf Dave Roberts( one of my faves however) better option at CF

rf Juan Encarnacion(never see him used) doesn't hit good enough for the $$

Sp Tim Wakefield (along with Garland always the two highest priced *sp left as free agents) cause they never do as good as their cards dictate.

Rp Arthur Rhodes - to expensive, I don't use relievers that pricey :P

1b Nick Johnson-injury waiting to happen, no thanks

2b Brian Roberts-never used him, wouldn't hesitate though in the right scenario

ss Bobby Crosby-injury factor

3b Joe Randa-used him a couple of times, great results

C Victor Martinez-hit or miss, can have better results from a decent platoon for less $

Lf Chad Tracy-never used him, probably never will

Cf Dave Roberts( one of my faves however)-I'll never take an injury risk at such a key position

rf Juan Encarnacion(never see him used)-Better options for less $

Sp Tim Wakefield (along with Garland always the two highest priced *sp left as free agents)-Garland has been ok when I have used him. Wakefield? What the heck park is he good in???

Rp Arthur Rhodes-Um, none for me thank you

I think you can add Wilkerson and Luis Gonzalez to the list...very productive in PNC and Safeco populated leagues.

It seems like every league I'm in Todd Helton, Felix Hernandez, Roy Halladay & Tori Hunter are free agents. I do understand why, though...

Jerlins,
I had Wakefield go for a 1.00 WHIP, 2.37 ERA in Petco on a Tour team.

My take on a couple of players that I rarely see that usually have performed well for me,

J. Rodriguez- always hits near .300 and OBP is usually above .360

Estoban Loiaza has done very well for me on a couple of teams (don't see him very often)

Taguchi gets used some of the time, but normally does very well for me off the bench, and I have used him as a starter on 3 teams and he has batted near .300 and decent obp not bad for 2.95.

He usually bats better than Kotsay for the same amount of $$

I use Murton and Gibbons alot in many different parks, and for the money, they both are very respectable if not better for decent money.

They are getting used much more later in the year, harder to get both.

Geekor would probably have a couple more choices for this list, but he would be giving away his secrets.

Maligned,

I can see him doing ok for Petco. I just look at his card and see trouble in both types of parks, especially in $80. leagues, there just seem to be identical cards for a lot less coin.
