its not the same as having an in-league board where posting is encouraged and people can engage in fun league stuff like trash talking, FA pickup comments, and other fun league stuff.

not sure what you are talking about? in most leagues I'm in there are regular email league participants send to "all teams" to trash talk, comment, make players available to trading partners, etc. Perhaps you are in some quiet leagues?
