Starting on 2 days rest?

Currently in the playoffs a team I have started Clemens on Game 5 of the Semis... and then HAL scheduled him on game 3 of the finals.

Clemens pitched well on game 3, 9IP 3R 4H 12Ks.

...Are my goofy math skills failing me again...or did Clemens start on 2 days rest.

Semis: Game 5 Thurs Clemens
Finals: Game 1 Fri #2 SP (Rest Days=1)
Finals: Game 2 Fri #3 SP (Rest Days=2)
Finals: Game 3 Sat Clemens Again :shock:

...Cool thing is that if the series goes to 7 I can start Clemen-tia again :D

I believe there is an assumed days rest between Game 5 of the semis (as part of Wednesday's games) and Game 1 of the Finals (part of Thursday's games). That would be the 3rd day of rest. See game rules for scheduled off days for the playoffs. I know I've seen it there.

In fact, here it is from the rules included in any season under help. I found it "cleverly" hidden under the topic ">Playoffs >Rest days."

At the end of the 162-game regular season, the 3 Division Winners plus the Wild Card team advance to the 2-round Playoffs. The Wild Card team is the team that has the best record among teams that did not win their division.

The Playoffs consists of a Semi-Finals (best of 5 games) and a Finals (best of 7 games).

After the regular season ends on Friday night, the Semi-Finals starts on Monday night. There are two simulated rest days before the Semi-Finals start, and one simulated rest day before the Finals start. The schedule is as follows:
