The Sim leagues give you the chance to "watch" the games as they are being "played". Im surprised that a much larger site like the Sporting news wouldnt have this technology. I just came across the Sim site and again Im surprised at how many more options you get for half the price. The money isnt a big deal. I had always thought how great it would be to "watch" the games and I emailed the Sporting News months ago asking if this was available and if not would it be in the future. When I was told no in the answer email I just chalked it up to it not being possible. Now that I see it on another site I am interested in knowing why the Sporting News hasnt bothered to provide this option(or the more in depth options) the the Sim league offers. Why is this?

I think the nature in which the SOM Computer game was designed makes it difficult for TSN and SOM to implement such a feature.

I took a shot at writing a program that reads the results of a game (http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/2006/league/boxscore.html?group_id=5162&g_id=791) but it's still incomplete at the moment.
