So this is a game that I think I could have potentially won, but Hal let Pedro pitch a freakish 11 innings and 170 pitches. I have left Pedro's settings pretty liberal so he is free to pitch complete games, but 11 innings for 170 is just silly. Doesn't Hal have some sort of reasonable recourse so Pedro doesn't serve up a matzah ball on his two hundredth pitch? Maybe Hal just recognized the fact that my relief staff blows.

Take a look at how your bullpen was used the previous two games. Did you have any fresh arms available?

Disregard pitch count in SOM. It's a totally arbitrary # used as filler in the boxscore and not used to keep a pitcher in the game or pull him.

Was Grady Little the manager?
