Giles not hitting!

I'm a rookie and through 40 games I'm in first so I can't complaint too much. But, Giles is hitting .223 batting 2nd at Wrigley behind Figgins and ahead of Berkman. His OBP is .388 but .223? WOW! That sucks... should I drop him for Giambi/Ortiz/Ensberg or ride it out a bit longer? Thanks!
Being a 1st timer, I can say this is a blast...

Why would you want to cut someone who has an OBP of .388? You won't get much better than that.

Jerlins makes a very good point. If he's on base that much he's still helping your team.

If we all had a dime for every time that's happened.....
Can only echo what Jerlins and Stoney said, .388 OBP is the more important number. If you play alot, you'll get whole TEAMS that start this way, so don't be surprised when you see one guy on your team that isn't hitting after 40 games. The surprise would be if you didn't have one.
Just so you feel at home:
David Ortiz at Safeco through about 40 games - .216, 9 homeruns
Willy Taveras platooned against only righties - .230 through about 60 games.
Bobby Abreu - .216 through about 40 games
and I'm just getting started... Anyway, patience, and enjoy the game. It can be frustrating, but if it wasn't great fun, we wouldn't keep playing.
