What cap would make TSN-SOM reflect real-life performances?

Obviously, neither pitchers nor hitters in the TSN $80M game perform as well, on average, as they do in real life. In fact, there seems to generally be about a 10-15% average depreciation in statistical performance, depending on stadium, opponents, luck, etc.
In $60M leagues, performance seems to reflect real-life performance a little better, though top players often seem to significantly outperform real life. I must confess, though, I haven't done nearly as much calculating of $60M leagues.
So, what's the balance? At which salary cap would typical, everyday players average approximately their real-life MLB performance?
Any thoughts or data?

Well, what you are asking for is a salary structure that would force teams to select players as if there were a full 30 teams selecting.

Using the simple math approach, take the sum of all salaries ($1,870.45) and divide by 30, which = $62.35. So a $60M league should be the closest to being right because that is the forced average team salary in a 30 team league.

I'd still like to see the option of 16 or 18 team leagues, with a free credit for all 4 teams that make the playoffs
