I have often been intrigued by the possibility of forming a community almanac, akin to the records books that have been so diligently and carefully kept by mightymoose (many thanks -again- moose) but different in the sense of collecting data not registered in the Records. Data like which Ballpark has hosted the most championship teams? which Closer was the most used by division winners? Which SS or 2B is the most recurring amongst Title teams? etc.

It would take the candid cooperation of the entire SOM community to register the sum totals. I am sure that cannot be achieved, but we can give it a shot, see if it flies.

For the first installment lets see if we can find which ballpark is most recurring in championship teams. In order to record the information all you have to do is list the park(s) you played in on your Championship winning teams and we'll add as we go along.

Good Q. Jerr. If you wouldn't mind just posting the new teams as they file in...hopefully all 7 of them, we'll add them as they come to avoid confusion (adding a team twice)

This includes theme leagues which could skew the desired results. For instance the Miller team I had was an all Brewers team. The Turner team was an all Braves team.
