Whats the difference b/w a regular and an "Advanced" league besides the amount of credits you can earn?

The only difference between advanced and regular leagues is that you earn more points on your manager rating for winning in an advanced league. It has nothing to do with credits.

The other thing is that you should be more aware of the other "options" that are available.
FA Drop penalty, Weighted Waivers, DH/NO DH,
While these are available to the regular leagues, they are more prevalent in the Advanced leagues.
Advanced leagues are usually used for themed leagues as well, so be sure to check on the options and whether there is a theme attached to that specific league.
