First Rounders 2007

Who do you think are the players most worthy of 1st round picks in 2007? Some are obvious (Pujols, Beltran, Sizemore, Jeter) but after that it starts to get a bit tricky doesn't it?

The first draft I was in, Pujols, Beltran and Sizemore all went undrafted.

In my opinion, Omar Vizquel is hands down the hardest player to get in the draft. When I got my 2007 5-pack,I had Vizquel as my #1 pick on 3 teams and never got him once. Pujols,Sizemore,Jeter are almost always available in the FA pile after waivers and often times stay there after waivers.
Good luck getting Omar if you don't have him first on your draft card, and good luck getting him even if you do have him first....

Some early autoleague feedback-Three leagues and Jeter and Sizemore not drafted except for me listing Jeter low on one card and getting him, but I dumped him for Vizquel, who was cut. I have already gotten Vizquel twice. I don't think Sizemore has even been used in any of the three leagues. Pujols also not drafted twice and Manny has been there for the picking(twice) every time I wanted him. Manny looks pretty awesome for the price to me. Also, top pitchers have been easily available for the most part, except for a couple(Carpenter, for one).

Listed Pujols first on my card once and didn't get him, then he was available in the FA list after the draft in my other 2 leagues. Jeter and Sizemore has been available post draft in each of the 3 leagues. Vizquel was on my list 2nd once and first twice, got him all three times. Last league I've done it looks like no less than 8 people had Vizquel on their list. For me, the hardest so far to get with a fairly high draft pick has been Zimmerman, who I've only been able to snag once in spite of him being in my top 4.

Notables who have been available each waiver period so far has been M. Cabrera, N. Johnson, and Freddie Sanchez. Sanchez has yet to be on any team so far in the three leagues.

I'm assuming these are all 80 million leagues. Cap constraints must be making it hard to land the top players and there doesn't appear to be as many bargain guys to help balance. Wonder how it would be different with a live draft.

In live drafts I have found the high priced guys are usually picked more like you described.

How about $200M live drafts? Anybody have a mock 1st round or an actual 1st round if you have already done one?
