Here are my faves based on my first 2007 5-pack.
Pitchers-Jered Weaver,Javier Vazquez,A.J. Burnett,C.C. Sabathia and Pedro Martinez are all doing well for me. (I'm a big fan of using a 5 man rotation in 2007. I think there are a lot of cheaper bargains in this years set. Burnett,Ted Lilly, even Boof Bonser is doing o.k. for me.)
Hitting-Ryan Howard,Luke Scott, A-Rod(who has been outstanding on 2 teams that I have him on) Melky Cabrera and Andre Ethier. These 5 have been my best so far.
Best of 2007

All you 2007 owners, give us some early reports! Not just your own team, but who is doing well in the entire leagues or in multiple leagues if you have the luxury of being in more than one already. Who is performing the best at each position, SP & RP? Any help appreciated.....

Chris Ray has posted an inexplicable 11 ERA in 7 innings for me so far. Sole reason for 2 out of my 3 losses in 12 games.
Lance Berkman and Andruw Jones are understandably my top producers, but Robbie Cano is on a 12-game hitting streak and is at a nice price. Melky's been hitting well, and Gary Sheffield is a beast in his limited at bats (14).
My top pitcher is Jeff Francis, but Ben Sheets is catching up as he just posted a complete-game 12 K performance. His card is great (11 BB in 100+ innings!) and since injury for pitchers doesn't depend on their injuries during the season, Sheets is a darn good value at $4.9 million.

In the first 15 games we played Saito notched 8 straight saves and gave up practically nothing, and we went 12-3. Now we are in game, 36 at 18 and 18. HAL has not let Saito into a single game since game 15. Do I have another closer? No; my set-up guy is Betancourt and he's been great. Very interesting situation, since there's no injury. You'd think the guy had punched me out in the locker room or something.

Ortiz,Beltran are ripping it up for me...predictiby......
spezio has been killing the ball also.....at a reasonable price...
Brandon webb has been solid, especially since almost all his starts have been in hitter's bp's.....
nathan is a stud again..........
Jose Cruz Jr is a great platoon vs lh pitching...

Fernando Tatis has been ridiculous in LHP platoon.
Patterson has been a steal.
Church has been worth the $ so far.
