nice start actually.

but it would help anyone to help you if you post a link to your team. That way we can see your division, free agents, etc.

To do this go to your statisics page, then click on your team. That URL should have a userid=xxxx where xxxx is some number. Post that link please!

I think Wilson is a nice cheap option at SS, but not fond of Finley at CF, Duffy is cheap and a much better option for Def only. Roberts doesn't really have great OBP, I'd much rather see Abreu leading off and Bay hitting 2nd. Not fond of Schimdt, I think there are better values thatn him (Smoltz, Bedard to name 2).

Either way, it's definetly a solid core, and opinions could change if I saw your division.

nice nucleus...agree with geek, have yet to see finley used. duffy won't hit a lick either but plays amazing cf defense. not sure what your cash situation is, but dave roberts, despite the +2 arm could be an option in cf. this seems to be the weakest overall position unless you get one of the big $$$ rh hitting studs (wells/a.jones/hunter)

How about perennial bargain Mark Kotsay. Solid bat and glove at a reasonable cost.

I had him on my original draft list. I was given Steve Finley instead. Aaron Rowand is still available...

no use for rowand...over priced for his high injury risk, and doesn't hit much anyway. obviously your main priority is a ss. pitching looks solid. assume it's a dh league, which means giles likely fills that role nicely. look at d. roberts if he's still available. kotsay would have been nice. nook logan also is strong, but needs a platoon against rh pitching.

I Like Brandon Phillips at 2B this year....save you some $$ over Roberts also, and has a very similar card.

I like Zaun, but not that ij3  Paul LoDuca would be nice here, and would also save you some $$

Just a couple of thoughts, but overall a pretty nice team! :D

I'm new, but I don't know if I should laugh or vomit.

Anyway, waivers clear at 5PM, so I'll post what I end up with then.
