Waivers

is it best to go into waivers trying to get the players you want, and hope for luck of the draft or hold back and keep a good amount of the cash and see who is left as free agents. This way you don't wast money dropping players you don't want.

Go after the players you need in waivers. Why settle for what may be left?

Stoney is right, and you won't waste money dropping players after waivers. The penalty for dropping players does not kick in until the season actually starts - so during the time after waivers and before the season the season starts you can drop players with no penalty.

So go for the players you want in waivers, and if you see a better one available after waivers you can still got after him.
