Relief question ... looking for suggestions-Calling all VETS

If you have two pretty good closers ... can you use one of them as a set up guy?

Would anyone recommend using the second closer as a set up guy? ... What are the pluses OR minuses of doing that?

The disadvantage would be that you're paying for a closer rating that you're not using. Two pitchers could be equal otherwise, but if one has a closer rating and the other doesn't, the latter will cost less.

but I'm under the thinking that the closer rating isn't as huge a part of the salary as I used to beleive, in fact it's very little.

Still I'd rather have a R2 setup over an R1, but if the R1 is dominant enough, it doesn't matter.
