Because on his first team his players didn't perform exactly like they did in real life, and the game is unrealistic!

Speculation hints that a fantasy (rotissiere) team was put together, and not a Strat team. Probably an 06 team that had Soriano at 2nd, Peralta at SS, with Petco as his ballpark. Pure speculation of course. 8)

i'm thinking the hitters don't match up with us cell that much...
bard, helton and reed johnson(as much as i like his card) would not be on any us cell team i would field.
pitchers cards are not all that bad but need guys in the pen who can have a bit longer rating than 1 inning.

Sounds like the kid in the neighborhood when he didn't win or get his way he threw a temper tantrum.

here is his 2006 team
http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/2006/team/team_other.html?user_id=16946
I sent him a long message as to why his team was not performing up to snuff and where he had wasted money a week ago, but got no reply
I told him Small was not a good fit, and to trade him for a * lefty starter like Mulder, Cachin or Buehrle
Then cut Papelbahn and Walker and exchange Vicaino for a .5 guy
to get down to 24 players and get more money. This also would have maximized his cost of Patterson, who is not starting enough.
Then to cut one of his 3!!! shortstops for .5 guy and then trade in Freel for lDelgado, who was on the FA wire.
As you can see his team is struggling to hit and Delgado would have fixed a lot of the slugging problem even in Safeco especially if Edmonds came around. He is in a weak division and could have taken it, if he would have listend I think.
He did none of it and expects his first team to compete and be the best right off the bat with out any advice on how this game works I guess.
But what do I know, I've only been playing this game for six years and only won 4 championship and taken 9 of my 13 2006 teams to the playoffs.

Well basically the draft for the 200 mil league was just full of irregularities. I had a shot at two players who weren't there then were there on the draft (after my pick) and both would have made a huge difference for me, and anybody who participated knows what I am talking about.
....................................................................................
The other problem I have is HAL. HAL is stupid. Let me correct that HAL isn't just stupid, HAL couldn't hit the side of my Dad's barn with his bullpen if it were Papelbon, Reyes, Nathan, Wagner and Gonzalez and they were throwing from 20 ft away. Why? Because HAL would never use them, he would use some 3 year old girl reliever. I am sticking to the boardgame from now on. I will probably buy a credit a year because it will help in any drafts I and my friends run. And it isn't that I didn't win the games. It's because that stupid AI won't use the players I would use. It's also the injury dynamic, there are to many injuries and no way to limit them to real life performance, and that 600 game rule is not a solution. Anyways, for those who responded that I am saying this because I didn't win you should check my Goldeneyes.
