Bernie...I Need Help

Bernie....the injury bug is killing me...last night 1st 3 game series and 2 of my best players go down....Aurilia went down on his 2nd AB for 10 games(this in my opinion is not fare play)....Berkman goes down in the 3rd game.....normally I don't complain but Berkman killed me in my last league and I would hope he would not kill me in this new league....

....can I get some help with these two players?

Aurilia has a 2 injury rating which makes him more likely to go down and since he doesn't have 600 PA he runs the risk of going down for up to 15 games per injury occurance. Berkman can't be lost for more than 3 games at a time.

There is nothing Bernie can do for you. If you play with higher injury risk players like Aurilia this is going to happen more often than if you use 1 injury rated players. The computor doesn't remember what teams you have had in the past and how many injuries you may have experienced. It is all percentage based. If you keep to 1 injury players, and even better, 600 PA players you will not be bothered by injuries so much. Then again the under 600 PA and higher injury rated players are priced more attractive knowing that they could miss more time due to injury. It is a balancing game you play with what players you choose to use.

If you use players like Aurilia you should have a competent backup on your roster to take his place while he is on the DL. Bernie will not remove Aurilia and Berkman from the injury list for you. If I was in your league and Bernie did this for you I would be very upset. We all play by the same rules.

.....LMBombers you make some good points....it's just irritating when you play a team with higher risk players and they have no injures and your team looses 2 of its better players...
