Strat-O-Matic Players Wanted for New Start-Up League
Looking for Owners/Managers to join a keeper league starting with the 1997 season. We will have 12-16 teams and a 154 game season that the computer will simulate in blocks of 20-25 games (more on that later). The goal is to build a league history, with hopes of being ready to play the 2007 season, using the cards & dice, net play and computer sim. We will use the strat draft site to draft each year (15 players will be allowed to be protected each year). Each season until 2007 will be played in about 2-3 weeks and more details will be provided upon request. The draft will run roughly a week. Ballparks (which will be your franchise each year) are on first come first serve basis. Divisions will be set based on best geographical locations. I would like to have the 1997 draft start on June 11th. Rules will be provided on request, but some of them are, super-advanced play, no closer rules, 110% usage rule, ballpark and weather effects and 35-man rosters. I have run many leagues throughout my years, im 32 now and have been playing since I was 8. Currently I have about 5 guys who would be interested in doing this. Im located in the Cleveland area (Westside), but it is not necessary to be local to join. Please any suggestions, questions don’t hesitate to ask.
