You should do good with Webb, you need Lowe and Westbrook as well (Ground Ball Pitchers) :D . In my last 2006 League I was 1st in Fielding and came in Scond Place :( .
Was 5th in Runs, 6th in Pitching and all was for naught. Good Luck. Brian

Nice team Roscodog! I was perusing the new 2007 manager ratings earlier today and noticed that you've been very succesful so far... like playing .600% ball or something ridiculous like that. 8)

auto-draft but 7 managers wth a rating of 470 or better. (including myself).

So far I'm having some success this year as opposed to last year. 07 is reminiscent of 05 for me.

I just drafted a tour team (the late league) with an infield of:

1b: Texeira
2b: Hudson
3b: Lowell
SS: Vizquel

My catchers are Leiberthal and Matheny. Yes, I know they both have an injury chance of 6, but the AI will not let both be injured for more than rest of game at the same time.

I have some work to do with the OF, the only player I drafted, and rcved, was Rios and it looks like I got Willie Moe Pena for DH, whom I drafted

Probably, but he's cheap and does fit the slick fielding theme on this team.

To be honest, I don't like Schmidt's card either. Think you could do better here for about the same price... maybe even less.

But this still looks like a winning combination. :D

At 1st, I thought 07 was comprable to 05, but im struggling badly in 07.......cant find a winning formula.........

Ive actually just purchased a 2005 team, hoping to "find the magic" so I can maybe apply some of it to 2007............

Well maybe my upcoming weekend of eating,drinking, and sm**ing in Maine will help ..
