I am in your league, so I could see your team. Berkman doing poorly is just bad luck IMO. There are only 2 or 3 LH SP's in your division, with three parks that favor LH hitting. Just based on the fact that he is seeing so much RH pitching Berkman should be doing at least halfway decent. Other than that, you have RH SP's who get hit by lefties, and some hitters that hit LH well, but you don't see that many. Even though you are hitting LH well, they are still beating you to the tune of 2-8, which could also be some bad luck. It looks like you went ahead and built a team that would usually work, but didn't pick up on the realities in your division(limited LH SP's), which you really should have been able to take more advantage of IMO. Berkman being so bad hurts you here, because you really only have two LH hitters that really hit RH well, and he's easily the best. Add some bad luck + some bad decisions=19-29.
