Haven't seen much discussion on relievers & closers. Which relievers & closers have people found to be most reliable, whether in a pitcher's or hitter's park. What great bargains <$3M have people discovered also.

Have had some success with Otsuka.

Capellan has been a nice find in a pitching park as a cheapo arm.

Wickman by far the best value...$2.3M...has saved 45 and 47 games for me so far.

I've used Rivera in both my leagues and he's been the best both times. Won the Fireman of the year in the first league (in Fenway) and is leading halfway though the first Tour season:

FENWAY
Rivera, Mariano R R1/C6 6 4 42 6 93.0 61 23 20 19 69 7 1.94 0.86

SAFECO
Rivera, Mariano R R1/C6 1 1 26 2 48.2 27 7 5 13 36 2 0.93 0.82

I have only used Papelbon as a closer but some guys that have done well for me I would consider value have been Raunch/ F. Cordero/ Hancock/ R. Hernandez

My championship team (and thus my only good team so far :P) did well with Scot Shields as the closer. He shared the role for the first half of the season and ended up with 22 S, 3 BS, 3.00 ERA, and 1.02 WHIP in Coors.

A reliever I am having a lot of success with is Darren Oliver. He doesn't put up great numbers but he keeps you in games when you need a long reliever. He was 15-3 on my championship team and so far 5-1 on my Tour team after 36 games.
