I haven't seen him around the boards and noticed he has only played 1 season in 07?

I haven't heard from him either. I hope everything's ok, and he's just taking a break. He's a real asset to our SOM community.

Luckyman..aka. MarcusWilby..aka...The Brain...aka The Greatest Strat Player of Alltime(online) is an active participant in the 07 Tour. I don't say these things in jest...they are my opinion.

I happen to share the same opinion of Luckyman. Never even having played the board game before discovering SOM Online, I found his knowledge and willingness to share that knowledge an invaluable tool for me to comprehend the game as a whole. His 05 $ values vs SOM $ values were a guide I referred to each and every time I put a team together. Every post of his is a "must read". Just an overall class act, both as a competitor and a teacher.

But if he is back participating in the 2007 tournament under a new name why would he be doing so incognito? Is it because he has tired of helping new players with his knowledgeable posts? What reason would he have of hiding out under a different ID?

I didn't say he was playing under a new name. His initial name was Luckyman and when TSN went to the new boards a while back he changed to MarcuWilby. I described him as The Brain...it has never been his ID just my image/projection of him.

He never tired of dispensing the sagest of advice....he just didn't have the time to dedicate to it. He was busy studying the unknowns of the human brain...I kid you not.

His last post was for the 2007 Player'sChampionship League(Tour?) in March.
