A spin-off of some of the previous theme leagues. Must committ to two seasons. (Bottom 15 and Top 15 Leagues). This will be the bottom 15 league. We will lotto for draft position (High to Low). In the first round you will pick your franchise and you must use their ballpark. Starting with round two (Serpentine--so #12 will get first pick in rd 2), each manager can pick any free agent from the bottom 15 teams that are not in play but must keep them for the entire season. You may select either a pitcher or hitter with your selection. However, if you pick a pitcher in rd 2 you must select a hitter in rd 3, and visa-versa. So at the end of 3 rounds, you will have your franchise and 1 free agent pitcher and 1 free agent hitter whom you must keep for the entire season. Once the draft is finished no other players may be selected from the unused teams. They will be considered OFF limits for free agent pick up after draft is complete. Any players carded to your franchise not on your roster when the season begins are considered in the minors and may be used anytime you need to bring someone up. They are your franchise so use them however you want. 80 mil cap with a DH. Here are the teams available for draft:

Texas Rangers 80-82
Cincinatti Reds80-82

Those are the teams. I know that is 16 but Tex and Cin had identical records so both are eligible. At the midpoint of this season we'll draft in the same manner for the top 15 league. These were some really super competitive league when we played them before. LMBombers I am going to put your name in to save you a spot based on our emails. Division alignment will come from draft position and will be 1-3-5 7 in the east, 9-11-2-4 in the central and 6-8-10-12 in the west. Please include your lotto state when entering. I really enjoyed these leagues last year and am looking forward to them again this year! I was lucky enough to win both leagues with the Brewers (bottom) and the Braves (top). I'm sure it will be different this year but it will be fun anyways!

Right on! I love this theme. Ever since the once thought horrific '69 Royals won 90+ games for me, it just showed that anyone can win these types of leagues. Is Hawk Taylor available?? :D

LOL Kev----Bet no one has the nuggets to take the Royals in this league...Horrible pitching and OF from he**. Not to mention no closer! :shock: This league is sharping up nice...Gonna be a tough one with some good managers.
