i just got my doors blown off, in a HUGE LOSS 20-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now my starter(hudson) went 2 innings giving up 5 runs on 4hits, my $500,000 reliver who was a R1 staye in there for 5 -1/3 innings to give up 13 runs on 15 hits and threw 132 pitches !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ALL ABOUT!![/b].

i had strategic for the relievers as conservative but get real. after that be brings in farnsworth for only 2/3 of a inning. i realize i did not mark the settings on hihs card but COME ON NOW. 132 PITCHES FOR R1?!?!

but i cant imagine the rest of the pitchers were unable to pitch!!!!!!

:x

Would you prefer your other relievers be used and fatigued out for the next few games? Perhaps your team lacks sufficient long relief options. At any rate hard to comment without link to team so we can see whole staff and knowing what the individual settings are for each.

Several things can be done to possibly guard against what happened to you, however, Valen is right...it could have been a "good" thing that your reliever was left in for that beating. Is it any worse losing 20-0 than 8-0? It's one loss either way, and your other relievers would be ready for the next game(s).
