player settings question

Some what new to the online game, have a question regarding setting a batters cards. Does this mean what I think it means "DON'T PINCH HIT FOR VS. LEFTIES/ RIGHTIES". Does this mean don't pull for a pinch hitter? HAL made some moves which I wouldn't make in a million years as far as pinch hitting. First time this has happened to me. Thanks for any help.

Well, yes...in theory and most of the time in practice, HAL will not PH for the player if you check those boxes, although he will still occassionally do so.

However, I find that if you DON'T check the boxes, he pinch hits for them alot more. So if you do not want them pulled for a pinch hitter, definitely check the "don't PH for..." box :wink:
