I just had a team that finished reg season at 82-80 and won the division by 4 games. To my surprise, it made the playoffs first of all. Secondly, it won the SemiFinal in 5 games. Third, it not only made it to the finals but SWEPT it in 4 games to win it all....this against a team that finished reg season with 97 wins. My run total for the year was 730-790. YES, you heard that right, not a misprint....I just had a team win it ALL by giving up more runs than they scored. That has to be a first, or at the very least extremely rare, right? I also made several midseason "changes" to my roster so I wasn't playing with 80m either....... :shock:

It is rare but doable. I just had an 84-78 squad win a championship with a negative RS/RA Differential and last year I won an 06 Championship with an 81-81 squad, beating a team with 92 wins to do so. I think I've even seen a team with a losing record win a Championship.
