Socalchiro, double-check your Manager Strategy settings. I am looking at them right now, and I see that you've explicitly (and accidentally, I'm sure) set Alex Cora as your #1 defensive replacement at [b:7af32a49c8]Catcher[/b:7af32a49c8].

While it can be argued that the computer manager should make sure a prospective replacement is eligible at the position he's assigned to come in for, in this case it was simply following your instructions.

When I set my lineup depth chart it only gives me the a choice of the players elligible at that position. How can anyone have Alex Cora listed as a backup catcher on the depth chart?

But if Cora isn't listed @ catcher, I shouldn't be able to save my manager settings.

Messing around with the defensive settings and it allows me to use ANY player at ANY position reagrdless of whether they play it or not.

The depth chart ONLY is used if a player goes down and the next game HAL will use that player at that specific location.

Mirabelli is NOT checked to remove for a defensive replacement.

I think next series, I'm gonna have Ichiro come in as a late inning defensive replacement @ catcher. :?
