Can anyone tell me if there's an easy way to take Excel spreadsheet info and format for posting here that keeps the column widths from Excel intact?
I use the code function but everytime, the data is merged together without the Excel widths and the data becomes jumbled. Am I missing something?

Unfortunatately, I think the Info Pop boards handle formatting better.

I haven't been able to figure out an easy way to do it. In the Tour standing thread the method they came up with was to copy the list to a wordprocesser like Word, change the font to a standard length font like courier, change tabs to spaces, and copy into the message using the Code feature. That will maintain formatting.
Would love to see an easier way, but a copy from excel uses tabs between fields and it looks to me like these boards convert a tab to a specific number of spaces, which won't maintain the correct formatting.
There might yet be a way to format the excel data in a way that would work, but I'm still experimenting with that.

Let's see if this works:
[code:1:b9877e5cf1]Chacon Shawn COL R 5L 0R(1) C(5)
Choate Randy ARI L 3R -1R(1)
Christiansen Jason SF L 1R -6R(1) C(2)
Chulk Vinnie TOR R 7R 0R(2) C(1)[/code:1:b9877e5cf1]
Looks like it does! Here's what I did:
Step 1: Place the data you are copying in it's own spreadsheet. Use Courier font. Format columns so that all characters are visible.
Step 2: Save the spreadsheet as a *.prn file
Step 3: Open the file in Notebook or other text only editor
Step 4: Copy/paste into message
Step 5: Highlight copied info and click the Code button.
And submit. Try it and see if it works for you.

actaully, what you could try doing is, using the spreadsheet as html. url that might work. if your n ot handle in html, then do what charlie suggested.
