Rules:
1. $80M; DH; 20% drop penalty; [b:b9b4220c80]25 man strict roster (no more, no less) at all times of the entire regular season (effective games 1-162, excluding preseason transactions); 5 man rotation (the *SP is null and void) - no 4 man rotations![/b:b9b4220c80]
2. Pick your base team. You own the rights to all players on your base team. Once someone picks a team, they own the rights to all of their carded base players throughout the entire season. Exception - if you release or don't draft a carded player for your base team that used to play for another team or currently plays for another team, then another owner can add that player after waivers have been processed.
3. You must use your base team's stadium.
4. You must keep at least 20 players that are carded for your base team (2006 MLB season) on your roster at all times during the season.
5. You can not draft a player on another owner's base team.
6. You can add up to five players that used to play for your base team or currently play for your base team (e.g. A. Soriano is a free-agent who has cleared waivers and can be added to any one of these base teams: Yankees, Rangers, Nationals or Cubs) or (e.g. RP Todd Jones can be drafted by any of his former teams if no one has the Tigers as a base team). To be eligible, former/current players must have at least (1) MLB AB or (1) MLB IP with your base team.
7. Complete the auto draft using your minimum carded 20 players and up to five free-agent former/current players not carded on someone else's base team. If after the auto draft you somehow get a player that is "carded" to someone else's base team or is not a former or current base team player, you must release him asap. Once waivers have been processed, you may add any free-agent who is a base card, former or current player for your base team.
8. You may not trade for or add free-agents that are not former, carded or current players on your base team (no exceptions). Undrafted free agents that are not carded, current or former players for someone's base team are not eligible to be on anyone's roster during any part of the season. If a player has never played for your team in real life at any point in his career, then he is ineligible to play for your Strat team in this league.
9. Divisions are based on base team geography:

[b:b9b4220c80]West [/b:b9b4220c80]- Dodgers, Padres, Angels, Rockies, Athletics, Diamondbacks, Giants, Mariners, Astros or Rangers.
10. First come, first served on picking your base team.
