I'm seeking for a display (on screen) version of the fielding and error charts. I don't have any paper version of it.

Thanks

You can order them from SOM for a small fee, which, presumably, is why they're not available online.

Uh nope, the rules are there and the compartive fileder's charts which compare the difference beteen range and error ratings, but not the actual fielding or X charts.

Strat-O-Matic won't let them be published on the web, copywright infringement.

The charts www.baseballthinkfactory.org is a good resource to help determine who to use at a position, yeah?

If I'm reading the charts correctly, I should put Gload (2 e23) over Atkins (4 e15) at first base.

Wavy,

That is, indeed, the case.

I would suggest that you use the method laid out in this article instead. That measures the defensive impact in terms of OPS, so you can subtract it from offensive OPS and get the player's total value. It's very difficult to tell what the other charts actually mean.
