Any advice or recommendations appreciated. Concerned whether the pitching I have needs to be upgraded although there is not much left in free agency, did not do well in draft with pitching.. Also, what are your thoughts with Berkman in OF as a #4 on defense ??
Team is pasted, hope I did this correctly

Your link does not work.

Click on the schedule/results page, click your team, right click on the url (should have a team_id= at the end) and then copy it to your thread...

I'm assuming Valent and Young are gonna platoon?

Valent is not a good choice in Petco. Young is. Valent makes a nice cheap platoon/dh in hitters parks.

I had thought about platooning Valent, but after reading threads have decided against that. I want to use Young as DH but I am concerned about the defense in outfield with Berkman and Bonds.. I could drop Klesko, move Berkman to first and pickup outfielder with a "2" but I do not know if that would be wise losing the OBP Klesko has... I would like to upgrade my pitching but not sure if I can fit that in without sacrifing offense...Still a few days before season begins to try and sort through

Thanks for the input

Bummer that Berkman turns around to hit righty against lefty pitching in Petco - Estrada and Izturis too. That and Bond's 6R balance will lead whichever opponents who can to hit you with lots of lefthanded pitching.

Also, I think you'll need more stamina in the pen, unless you're planning to use Madritch and his R3 rating in relief. Just my two scents...

Tori Hunter is going to absolutely die in that park, so you're paying 5 plus million for basically defense. Also think you have too many injury type guys, and like a previous poster mentioned, you'll get eaten for lunch, maybe dinner too, if you meet up with 3 lefthanders.
