The hitters on this team stink. Really bad. Pitching OK, hitting abysmal. I have Overbay, Burnitz, Freel all hitting under .200 or thereabouts. I know I am weak vs RHP but I have a lot of lefties in my division so do need good stats vs LHP as well as RHP. Can anyone explain why Burnitz and Freel in particular are doing so badly? Burnitz has ben hitting 4th recently but has also been 5th before. Freel has not hit all season nad been #1, #2 and #9 so far. I have now moved him back to #2 behind Castillo.

Man, that is some bad luck there. I'm not in love with some of those guys but it seems like EVERYONE just about is underperforming (and badly) on your team. I guess the one bright side is your only 4 games under .500 with a .220 team BA and OB% well under .300. That's bound to improve by alot I would think.

Thanks for the words of advice, and the sugeested line up. I am hoping that my luck will change soon as they can't keep underperforming so badly. I thought about ARod 4th vs LH but for some reason decided to keep him 3rd. (Probably because he is the best hitter, although he is of course also the best HR hitter). I also have had Burnitz 4th due to his good BP's and Guillen 5th because of good clutch.

I am actually going to see more LHP than normal this season as 11 of my division opponents pitchers are LH and only 5 RH, just in the mean time I have to face a few RHP.

I have got that much money from the surplus after getting rid of 4 players and only being able to find 2 to replace them. I would like to use the excess.
