Starting Pitcher who Can't Win

I was always impressed with Steve Carlton's 27 wins for the 1972 Phillies, who only won 59 games. It was a remarkable season.
But in SOM world, I have had some terrible luck with two pitchers in the 2006 game: Brad Radke won 9 games in 38 starts with an ERA of 5.31 for my team that won 86 games. Jao Seo won 6 games in 29 starts with an ERA of 3.87 for my team that won 77 games. My bullpen was average and didn't blow too many games in either case playing at PETCO.
What is your story of futility with a Starting Pitcher?

Feast your eyes on this season from Barry Zito.

And yes, that is Raffy Palmeiro on my team, the only time he was ever used in the history of the 2006 or 2005 SOM games.
Another great season....

With this team, I went for super SP's and tried to get some bargain hitters to help my starters win. Alas, for poor Zambrano, it did not work out as planned....

Man, it's kind of fun looking back through old teams. It wasn't funny at the time, but now you can't help but laugh.

Decided with this 06' team to give a couple of my favorite pitchers (Jason Johnson and Matt Belisle) a shot in the rotation. This is the not so favorable result.

In the 2006 set, Tim Redding has the worst pitchers card I have ever seen. And Will Cordero has the worst hitters card ever. For some reason, I decided to waste a credit and have both of them on the same team, just to see what their numbers would be.

For the first 10 games of the season, Redding didn't do that bad. He was the hard luck loser for a few games and could have gone 4-6, or even 5-5 in his first ten starts. But then, things went bad. Real bad.
