Thought this was interesting. [size=18:11c9f38970][color=cyan:11c9f38970]Frank Thomas [/color:11c9f38970][/size:11c9f38970]was put in as catcher in the 9th after pinchhitting for the only remaininig catcher on the team. The game goes into the 11th and ends when Abreu is thrown out trying to steal 2nd by Frank "Cannon Arm" Thomas! :o

We lost the next 2 games, but a 3rd string catcher has been discovered for our team. :lol:

Not sure what I find wilder, Thomas catching or being used as a pinch runner. Wonder if that EVER happened in real life. :D

Nope, just pinch hitting. I could see that. And he was a two sport star at Auburn... maybe he DOES have a cannon for an arm. We don't know! :P
