I am at the point that ii am not going to play anymore

I don't think this game is realistic.
Batting ave can be up to 60 or more points off
Era can be in the 7's or higher
Injuries are way out of poerportion with reality.

Maybe i don't understand the game

A good amount of what makes your team successful or not is your ability to distort reality. You try to put players in positions where the skills they exhibited during the season will be enhanced, whether that be changing the park they play in, their spot in the batting order or their role on a team. Not to mention players such as Alex Escobar, who had great mini-seasons but can become full-time players in SOMO.

You also have to remember that competition is much keener than in MLB. Here there are 30 teams being reduced to just 12. Usually all positions can be covered even with an $80MM salary cap.
