An Injury Question

So, I'm aware that injuries can carry over from the regular season to the postseason but do simulated rest days between the regular and post seasons "count" in that injury period? For example, in game 162 a player gets hurt for 3 games. Does he only miss game one of the postseason since their are two rest days before that, or does he miss the first 3 postseason games?
