Advertising for teams in 2003 league. Now Full! Thank you!

As a complete rookie to this experience I have joined league TSN43221 in the 2003 season and I am looking for 6 additional challengers to properly indoctrinate me! I am curious what is the normal time frame to fill leagues? Also to join private leagues what is the best method to introduce yourself?

Hard to say how long leagues take to fill. The newer leagues (2007, ATGIII) may take as little as 2 days. Some of the older leagues (2001-3) may take a month or two. Good news is, now that fantasy football season is over you will start to see business pick up. For instance I just missed joining a 2001 league that readvertised with 6 players remaining on Friday and was filled by Saturday night.
As far as introducing yourself, trolling the boards such as you have is a good way to do it. :D
By the way, I just joined another 2001 league that has 8 positions left and should be filled by Monday. One note of caution, the 2001 league was created before the option of the waiver draft so when the league goes live at just after midnight of the day the last position player joins, its first come first serve to pick up free agents after the draft is done. This is whats known as a FRENZY. (Don't worry though, TSN does email you as soon as the league fills so you know to be there.)
