Does anyone have any clue when the 2008 online game will begin (2007 season set)? Not the card distribution by the game company but the game on this site.

We are aiming to debut the 2008 edition of SOM Online (2007 season) earlier in the year than in the past, but exactly when that is, or whether we'll be successful, is uncertain. I would estimate late February to early March.
The playable 1986 game will debut within the next 3 months as well.

I really wish people who understood nothing of the game wouldn't make negative posts.....
Whatif just uses statistics of the season and nothing else, it's a 2 day job to add in the new season.
SOM hasn't even released the card data yet, and they don't until Jan-Feb so TSN needs the data from them, which isn't even out yet. So how could they have it out?? :?

Thanks for the update BERNIE, can't wait to play both '08 and '86. I better start saving my $$$ now. If I understand correctly though I will be able to use the credits I won in '07 for these games aswell.

From what I remember last year Rosco, as long as you haven't converted your credits into certain game credits then you will be alright. To put it another way, as long as the credits remain "free agents" then they can hold out until about a week after the new game debuts. Once those credits "sign a contract" to be used in a certain game, they would be like Kevin Brown in a Yankees uniform (which is to say nothing either side can do about it).

Have you not noticed there are cards in Strat Thats why I play it because I grew up with it before there were computers except on the Man from U.N.C.L.E. and James Bond movies

dear idiot,
What part of the way things work don't you get?
Is it that the actual cards are not even out yet, the data just barely came out 2 days ago!!!
It is a board game numbnuts, one that has to have the cards and BP data made by the board game company before TSN can do anything.
now go crawl back to your corner.
