What a way to lose!!!

What a way to lose!!!

Here's one for agony:

With a 9-4 lead going into the top of the 9th and my league-leading closer (Hoffman) on the mound, I give up 13 runs to lose 9-17.

Aaaaargh!!!

That happens routinely for me. I am the KING of the blown save. Always looking for someone to replace me on the throne.

This game was at Shea, no less!

old ToriHunter:

Some of your line on Hoffman looks a lot like his would extend to for a full season (I'm 40% thru the season).

Extended would be:

7-5, 52 S,[b:66c4bca4e3] 15 BS[/b:66c4bca4e3], 113 IP, [b:66c4bca4e3]20 HR[/b:66c4bca4e3], 3.38 ERA [b:66c4bca4e3]1.21 WHIP[/b:66c4bca4e3]

Wow that's great

I just started a league with him. I feel very uneasy now. He did pitch 1 inning and had 2 SO and no hits and a save. I guess I might have nowhere to go but down now. Here is to a great season after many bad ones.
