Here is my team- second year player. I had this same problem with Pedro on last years strat team.

It is not the greatest, but if Halladay was performing even close to what he should be, I would be in first place in my division. I need some help. A top five pitcher should not be 1-6. At worst, I figured him to throw .500.

I don't know what to do to fix this shenanigans. HELP!!!

The only advice I can give is stick with him, things should balance out by the end of the year, guys are often too quick to make changes.

Normally, when I see posts like this, the team normally has 3's up the middle, and 4's on the corners, but not the case this time around. Agree with Roscodog here. Patience is the only option here.

I would venture that part of it is playing Carlos Lee vs L in the field and a poor bullpen giving up late runs, but overtime he should do better than this

For whatever reason, whenever I draft Halladay, he gets of to a slow start. Stick with him. It is much too early to drop him. He'll turn it around.

Thanks for the encouragement- I really felt like I built a pretty solid team and think I have a legit shot at winning this year- But Halladay was the keystone to that.

I dropped a high priced middle reliever and a starting pitcher and was able to land Maddux as my number two. Ever since picking him up- the rest of my staff has gelled amazingly. It sounds weird- But it's like Maddux just made everybody else play better.

I am 9-1 in my last ten and have overtaken first place. Thanks for the words.

Well I had Halladay twice and he got rocked. One time in RFK. Well I also had the same issue with Pedro. With this game sometimes I just see it as bad Ju-ju with certain players and just stay away from them in future leagues.

Hope he turns it around for you/

I notice that Halladay is 4-2 since your post. His whip is far better than your team average, his era is declining, and he leads you innings. You gotta wait for a stud like that to come around. Good luck the rest of the way.
