Who are your biggest heroes and goats for 2007? The players who went way over and way under expectations. Here are some of mine:

HEROES

It was a 2 mil and under league, but Jeff Keppinger was 2nd in the MVP balloting .300 .357 .493 102 runs, 26 HR 79 RBI

We all expect good things from Hafner, but this in a 100 mil league?
.331 .451 .810 151 Runs 83 HR!! 177 RBI

And how about Adam LaRoche, who generally has played well for me (although others make fun of him) on my 100+ win team
.302 .380 .689 47 doubles 52 HR 146 RBI

GOATS

Burkett (who many rave about) personally kept my cheap pitching experiment out of the playoffs. An ERA over 7 on a team with excellent D playing in ATT, before I dropped his sorry butt right before the trading deadline. Never chose him again.

Garland, playing in a league with a 35 mil salary limit, piching in the Cel he should have been a stud, but instead he was 11-21 with team worst 5.85 ERA

Lance Berkman Dud
He never come close to a 400 oba and seldom hits over 250
I have had him on 03 06 and 07 teams with poor results.

I would guess Carlos Beltran could be a Goat in a pitcher's park for that price. I think I drafted him in my first season but ended up dropping him before the season started.

I ended up using Edmonds (Hero) as my CF.

Well I just dropped him for Carlos Lee right before the season started and Berkman had a 3HR game in the first series (which made me sick of course). I hope your observation holds true in our league.

Tori Hunter SUCKS!!!!
