This team started 11-28.

I then dropped Maddux, V. Wells, Ibanez.

Picked- up Roberts, Davonon, Griffey, Carpenter.

In the process I devalued my team a fair amount-- something that almost never works.
I clawed back and never lead my division until I was tied for the lead going into the last 3 game series, won 2 games against that team to win division, then went on to win semis in 5, and swept finals.
This was my sweetest win, for I never thought I'd have a prayer. Makes up for some of those 100win, got swept in the 1st round, teams.
Think I PO'd the other guys in my division, for they remained silent as I won. Can't blame them though :)

Nice job on your moves. It is always sweet to make the moves that win it all. The General Manager never gets enough credit when they win and always gets blamed when they lose.

Thanks for the kind words. Hey Turtle, could be worse, in 2005 I had a 106 win team get swept by the 82 win wild-card in the 1st round :twisted:
