Trivia Question Who was Glenn Brummer?

Postby GlenBrummer » Mon Feb 25, 2008 7:32 pm

Ok I'm new here and named my manager after a player in my home town who was only in the majors for a cup of coffee. Yet he is known for one unbelievable play that helped win a pennant and is considered one of the great calls of a Hall of Fame broadcaster.

Anyone here know who the player was and what he did?

Welcome Mr. Slow Footed Third String Catcher....

I admit I cheated and googled the name.

I will not give anything away though.

well google makes trivia questions easier, eh? The call from Jack Buck (Joe's late father) is considered one of his greatest and is replayed here every so often.
