DOES ANYONE WANT TO JOIN A KEEPER LEAGUE FOR EACH YEAR? I want to start a 12 team keeper league. You would keep your roster, but there would be a yaerly draft for new players. You could maybe keep 10 players each year.
Also we would play 3 times a year with the same cards and then move onto a new set each year? Respond with an email adress so i can contact you with details

Matt,
I would love to join a keeper league. I've been looking for one for quite a while but haven't seen much interest. If you get it going, I'm in.

Would be interested in a 200 mil keeper, or a 100mil. With an 80 mil there is little advantage to keeping players.

I like the 100 mil or 200 mil idea too. We can discuss the league rules if we get enough interest, but another idea I like is having players under contracts.
For example, players would have 1 - 6 year contracts and you can only keep those players under contract. After the contract is over, that player goes back into the free agent pool.
Any thoughts????

I was in a league when we played the game. What I thought of doing is keeping 9 players and 5 picthers. Then everyone else goes into the draft pool. I mean if ur the worst team u should get first crack at some of the new rookies? I dunno how it would work, but i want to figure a way to keep some guys and make the drafts meaningful.

I'd be interested in joining an online keeper league, I've been playing strat-o-matice baseball for 20 years with a friend of mine but I only descovered the online game a few weeks ago. I think the 200 million cap would be a little too high through, if you have a lower cap number it makes it more strategic in deciding who you keep.

Fellas, not to interupt, but take a look at the first posts in the HCKL and USKL threads on the individual chat threads. The rules for those keeper leagues are posted there and might give you guys some ideas of the issues/rules you'll want to cover.
I myself am in 3 keepers and LOVE them, best way to play IMHO. Good luck.
