Whats the deal with the 1986 game?

Dose anyone know what the deal is with the 1986 strat-o-matic game? I've seen several posts saying that it's going to be free to play for a limited time and that it is supposed to come out today, the 27th, but I can't find anything about it on either the Strat-o-matic or Sporting news websites?

Patience, Bernie stated in an all time greats thread that it is launching sometime today. We just don't know when.

I've checked myself about 10 times today.
And by afternoon PST, you of course mean 12:01 PST

I'm a little excited to try something new. 1986 isn't a year that I am entirely familiar with, because I was young and didn't start paying attention to baseball until 1988, but I think I can hang with you guys. If it comes out, it comes out. If not, I can wait until next week to make you all feel like amatuers!
