I have Yount in two leagues and within the first week Yount has been injured for 15 games.(Bummer)Does anyone have any thoughts on this! Injuries appear to be happening more frequently within the 1986 game. Could this be true, or is it just an annomoly?

One league I am in has players going down every night. I have found that the league stays pretty healthy or injuries happen alot. No rhyme or reason to it.

Okay , Yount is on all three of my 1986 teams and on all three of them NOW he has gotten injured for 15 games within the first week of the season. THAT IS REALLY WEIRD! THE THIRD INJURY IN THE THIRD LEAGUE JUST HAPPENED TONIGHT!

RMilter- Beware my child. You must not speak of this to anyone. The "Teaessen" curse is powerful, and always nearby, hiding in the shadows. It sees all, and will wreck havoc on your teams. I know of this from past experience, and I am only a sophomore.

He's been injured twice early on in the season for me too. I've ofetn thought there was problem with HALs injury algorythims, because the I've sen the same guy get hurt on the same night across multiple leagues to many times for it to be coincidence, but every says that's all it is. Still wish Bernie would look into the injury code and see if there isn't something fishy.

I swear every new set this comes across again.
Over the past few sets I have been using more injury guys than non, ie guys with less that 600 pa's. There is no conspiracy, it's just random. For every guy like you there are how many hundreds with nothing? I have Yount on 2 teams, one 1 1/2 weeks, the other 2 1/2 weeks in and the earlier one hasn't missed a game, the other just 3 games.
Bad luck does not equal conspiracy.

I do not believe in any conspiracies: like for instance; the one were all the geeks take over the World by braking into our computers. Or the other one where George Bush would invade an entire Country over weapons of mass destruction that were imaginary. So no, I too do not believe in conspiracies, especially when it comes to Strat-O-Matic! Who would have a vendetta against Robin Yount anyway?
